Ukraine’s 1+1 Media has signed new distribution agreements for the broadcast of its TV channels with four leading providers.
Valid for 2019, they have been reached with Lanet, as well as the regional companies TeleNetwork (Zhytomyr), MKTB (Nikolaev) and Osnava (Cherniv).
In a statement, 1+1 Media says that the signing of these agreements took place under conditions of mutually beneficial cooperation and at a price acceptable to the parties, which does not contradict the media sales policy announced for 2019.
Commenting on the development, Andriy Malchevsky, director of the distribution and development department at 1+1 Media, said: “We believe that early talks on discussing terms and signing deals for the next year are a logical step for a responsible provider, who cares about the comfort of his subscriber and satisfaction with the level of service provision. For our part, we are ready to contribute comprehensively to the increase of the subscriber base of software service providers by adhering to the principles of fair competition, anti-dumping, piracy and provide favourable conditions for cooperation with the 1 + 1 media group next year to continue providing viewers with high-quality television services”.
Just last week, as reported by Broadband TV News, 1+1 Media signed an agreeement with the cable operator Triolan for the distribution of its TV chanenls in 2019.
