The Croatian incumbent Hrvatski Telekom (HT) ended H1 with 415,000 subscribers to its TV services, or 1.8% more than in the same period last year.
At the same time, its TV ARPU grew by 1.5% to HRK83 (€11.2). Revenues from broadband and TV services, including HT’s subsidiary in Montenegro, amounted to HRK704 million in H1, or 2.1% less than in the corresponding period in 2017.
HT Group as a whole had revenues of HRK3,681 million in H1 (-0.3%). Its EBITDA after exceptional items was HRK1,471 million (+2.2%) and net profit after non-controlling interests HRK447 million (+9.1%).
Separately, HT has signed long term contracts with Croatia’s four largest football clubs – GNK Dinamo Zagreb, HNK Hajduk Split, HNK Rijeka and NK Osijek – to further support them in European competitions. It will show all the qualifying matches of Croatian clubs in European League competitions exclusively on MAXtv from this year.
Viewers will also be able to follow matches of domestic clubs in the UEFA European League, also exclusively on MAXtv from this year.
HT has sponsored the Croatian national football team and Hrvatski Telekom First League (HML) for the last seven years.
