Orange Polska almost doubled its FTTH subscriber total in the year to June 30, while 900,000 customers watched its TV services.
The latest results published by the Polish incumbent show that as of the end of H1 it had 286,000 FTTH subscribers, compared to 145,000 a year earlier. In Q2 alone it gained a record 38,000.
Meanwhile, its TV customer total stood at 900,000, up from 792,000 a year earlier. Of this, 386,000 (277,000 in H1 2017) were IPTV and 514,000 (515,000) DTH.
Just over two-thirds of the TV customer total (641,000) were B2C convergent customers.
Orange Polska’s revenues in Q2 amounted to PLN2,766 million (€640.8 million), or 2.6% down on the same period in 2017.
Reported EBITDA was PLN785 million (+28.4%) and consolidated net income PLN46 million, compared to PLN71 million in Q2 2017.
