June 20, 2018 07.36 Europe/London By Robert Briel

Insight TV has appointed Poppy Mason-Watts as PR & Communications Manager, effective immediately.

Mason-Watts is responsible for overseeing the company’s day-to-day B2B and B2C public relations and comms activities.

Prior to joining Insight TV, Mason-Watts was director of corporate communications & PR and oversaw the National Geographic marketing team at Fox Networks Group Asia. She was responsible for 14 markets in APAC including Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia and combined PR and marketing responsibilities focused on corporate, crisis, B2B and internal comms as well as delivering digital-first fully integrated marketing campaigns across the National Geographic brand.

Mason-Watts began her career in London and has worked for several high-profile agencies including Lexis; The Recommendations Agency; Golin; and Mango PR where she managed a number of global clients. After leaving London, she spent six years working in Asia, in both Singapore and Hong Kong.

“I’ve gained a lot of incredibly valuable experience while working in PR and marketing roles for several leading brands. I’m really looking forward to the new challenges that this role will bring, Insight TV is a strong brand with a very knowledgeable team in place. My experience lends itself perfectly to further developing and executing the company’s PR strategy globally.”

Jenna Vaartimo, Insight TV’s Marketing Director adds, “We’re delighted to be expanding our talented team here at Insight TV as we continue our fast-paced growth in countries around the world. Poppy has valuable skills that will enable us to further promote the company’s successes globally. Insight TV has previously focused on B2B marketing and PR, however as we go forward, we will be extending our PR efforts to focus on the consumer side and affiliate marketing in addition to B2B.”
