Revenues from the provision of audiovisual services in Lithuania amounted to €30,645,743 in the first quarter of this year.
This, according to data published by the country’s Radio and Television Commission (LRTK), was slightly higher than the €30,512,482 in the same period last year.
Revenues from broadcast TV services contributed €12,492,913 to the total (€12,264,918 in Q1 2017), while retransmitted broadcast TV (pay-TV) services claimed €16,358,823 (€16,618,714).
Radio services accounted for the remainder and grew significantly over the period, up from €1,628,850 to €1,794,007.
