Insight TV has appointed Angela Borrillo as VP Business & Legal Affairs
She will be responsible for overseeing and managing INSIGHT TV’s business concerns and strategy and ensuring the company operates in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Prior to joining Insight TV, Borrillo spent more than ten years at Liberty Global in Amsterdam where she held the post of Director of Programming and was responsible for the negotiation and acquisition of linear channels, digital rights and SVOD content for Liberty Global’s cable and satellite platforms throughout Europe.
Before joining Liberty Global, Borrillo held the positions of Director of Business Development International Programming (based in Madrid, Spain), and Director of Programming at Dish Network/Echostar in Denver, Colorado.
Prior to that, she was Director of Programming & Broadcast at Triax Telecommunications, in Denver, Colorado. Borrillo received her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from Manhattanville College in New York, and her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver. She has been honoured in the cable industry´s annual edition of ´Cable´s Top Heavy Hitters 2000´, published in Cable Fax Magazine.
