Dear Reader,
By now I’m sure you’re familiar with the upcoming AVG/GDPR privacy legislation.
It means organisations like Broadband TV News need to make clear how they handle personal data.
We’ve done so in our revised Terms and Conditions.
Broadband TV News records your data in a mailing list in MailChimp. These are your email address, first and last name, and if you volunteered it the company you work for.
MailChimp is based in the United States, but has privacy shield certification, which means that even though it is outside the EU, its privacy protections are to as high a standard as required in Europe. You can read MailChimp’s privacy policy here.
We use the data to send you our Daily Newsletters and occasionally White Papers and other promotional emails that help pay for our service.
If you do not want to receive newsletters anymore, you can modify or remove your data from our mailing list by clicking the Change Preferences button at the foot of each email we send.
Sincerely
The Editors
