Greece’s Cosmote TV has secured exclusive TV broadcasting rights for LaLiga Santander for a further three years until 2021.
As a result, its customers will continue to have access to LaLiga through Cosmote Sport channels, as well as Cosmote TV GO and Cosmote TV on demand services.
Commenting on the development, Dimitris Michalakis, Cosmote TV general director, said: “Over the past 6 years, Cosmote TV has been the exclusive broadcaster in Greece of LaLiga Santander – one of Europe’s most exciting football tournaments-. We are delighted to renew our agreement for another 3-year period so that our subscribers will continue to watch the Spanish league games, along with the majority of all international premium sports. At Cosmote TV, we consistently look for new, fascinating content, as well as advanced services that enhance viewer experience”.
Melcior Soler, director of audiovisual at LaLiga, added: “CosmoteTV has been a great partner delivering the spectacle of LaLiga to fans in Greece.

Cosmote TV’s offer currently consists of 15 sports channels. They include Cosmote Sport channels providing over 7,500 hours of live broadcasts a year, along with Cosmote Sport Highlights HD.
