A new multi-transponder agreement has been signed between Intelsat and Telenor Satellite.
It covers distribution of channels over DTH services in Central & East Europe and will use capacity on the Thor 5 and Thor 7 satellites.
“The agreement with Intelsat is core to our broadcast household reach within Central and Eastern Europe and it is essential in order to continue the positive development in the region”, says Ole Ledang, Director Broadcasting Division of Telenor Satellite.

The 1 West neighbourhood serves around 2.2 million DTH households in Romania, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
