The Bulgarian TV channel Europa has acquired a Sofia-based radio station named News Now.
Capital reports that the deal, worth nearly BGN100,000 (€51,026), is the second one undertaken by Dobrin Ivanov in a matter of months.
Late last year be bought Europa, which is headed by Georgi Harazinov (pictured), from its previous owners Emil Stoyanov.
News Now, which has until now been owned by the media consultant Krassimir Gergov, will see its name changed to Radio Europa – The News Now and operate alongside the TV channel Europa.
