Telenet rolls out Vivid adult movies on demand

March 9, 2018 15.44 Europe/London By Robert Briel

Vivid’s television division, part of Los Angeles-based Vivid Entertainment, has said a selection of its adult movies will begin airing in Belgium via Telenet.

Vivid movies are available for Telenet customers through the on-demand adult offer.

Vivid has made international headlines for its sex tapes showing the escapades of famous celebrities including Kim Kardashian, whose hugely successful career has been attributed in part to her best-selling Kim Kardashian Superstar tape. Among many others in the VividCeleb collection are Farrah Abraham, star of MTV’s Teen Moms OG, Kendra Wilkinson plus Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee.

Already distributed in more than 50 countries, the Vivid brand is now available to Belgian subscribers via Telenet. The company is constantly expanding in Europe and features linear channels Vivid TV Europe, Vivid Touch and Vivid Red HD. Vivid also has the exclusive broadcast rights to Kink movies in Europe.

Vivid was founded in 1984 by Steven Hirsch, its current co-chairman, who Adult Video News credits with having “single-handedly moved adult entertainment into the mainstream.” The company also claims it has the largest film archive of any single studio in the history of the adult industry.
