T-2 will soon introduce the first 4K set-top box into Slovenia’s TV market.
The alternative telco has opted for the latest model of Amino Communication’s Kamai 7 series with the latest broadband chip. The receiver has a 4K UHD certificate and will in the future support High Dynamic Range (HDR).
It will also allow T-2 to offer viewers content in HD, as well as VOD and SVOD services.
T-2 was founded in Maribor in 2004 and now has its headquarters in Ljubljana. A leading provider of fibre-optic technology, it has already built its own fibre-optic network in all major cities throughout Slovenia.
T-2 offers customers internet, VoIP and IPTV services on its fixed network.
It also provides subscribers with mobile, mobile telephony and mobile internet.
