The supervisory board of Constantin Medien has extended the contract with CEO Olaf Schröder for three years until December 31, 2021.
Schröder has been the CEO of the German media company since August 25, 2017. Previously, he had already been active on the executive committee of Constantin Medien as the COO Sports since January 1, 2016.
As CEO of Constantin Medien, Schröder coordinates the management board’s policy and is responsible for the strategic development, M&A activities, communications and human resources as well as for the activities of the company’s subsidiaries in the sports segment including sports broadcaster Sport1, advertising sales company Sport1 Media and production company Plazamedia.
In addition to his management board seat with Constantin Medien, Schröder continues to be the chairman of the management of Sport1.
