Czech viewers spent a total of 6.5 million hours viewing content on TV from the public broadcaster Ceska Televize (CT) in January this year.
At the same time, they watched nearly 20 million videos from CT via the web, mobile apps and HbbTV.
The figures, produced for the first time by ATO-Nielsen Admosphere and published by CT, also show that in January Czech audiences on average watched 26,747 videos from CT per hour.
These are likely to be significantly higher this month due to viewership of the Winter Olympics over the web.
Last Monday, for instance, there were over 1.35 million views of the biathlon, or 65,000 an hour.
CT’s Olympics website also registered 513,000 released videos last Monday.
