DVB-T2 offer expands in Czech Republic

February 7, 2018 08.37 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

The Czech Republic’s Digital Broadcasting has added two more channels to its DVB-T2 transition multiplex PS13.

Joj Family HD and the documentary-based KinoSvet are now included in a line-up that already contains Nova, Nova Cinema, Nova Action, Nova Gold, Nova 2, TV Rebel and TV Relax.

PS13 is currently distributed in Prague, Brno, Barvicova and Ostrava.

Joj Family has until now only been available in SD on the national multiplex MUX4, while KinoSvet has been distributed by the regional multiplexes RS4 and RS7.

Digital Broadcasting has been the owner of MUX4, known as “Broadcasting Network number four”, since 2012.
