At the end of 2017, Dutch incumbent KPN served 2.116 million interactive IPTV homes.
This is an addition of 113,000 homes during the past twelve months. But during the past year, KPN lost 59,000 subscribers to its DTT product Digitenne.
During Q4, KPN added 21,000 new IPTV subscribers, but lost 16,000 Digitenne subs. This compares with a growth of 23k IPTV subs during Q3, 2017.
KPN added 7k broadband customers to its base in Q4 2017. ARPU per household grew 4.8% year-on-year to EUR 44.
KPN said it further improved the stability and reliability of its IPTV product, reflected in a leading position in the Netflix ISP speed index.
