Playmaker is a white label web service that will be tailored for each associations needs and be branded with their name and logo. It includes access from computer, tablet and mobile, designed to reflect the look and feel of their TV service.
Canal Digital says Playmaker has not been developed as a standard solution, but to reflect individual packages and antenna association’s desire to be independent.
“We would not buy a standard solution without the possibility of allowing members the freedom that associations offer,” says Peter Fredsted, Sales Director, Canal Digital. “Each member must be able to see exactly the channels they already subscribe to – also on their computer, tablet and mobile phone.”
During 2018, the streaming service will be expanded with movies and series based on the agreements that Canal Digital has with content suppliers.
