Erik Huggers out as CEO of Vevo

December 15, 2017 19.34 Europe/London By Robert Briel

Erik Huggers has stepped down as president and CEO of Vevo, a role he has held since 2015.

Huggers said he has decided to step down to pursue new opportunities. The company’s board of directors today announced the leadership transition at the company.

Effective immediately, Alan Price has been named interim CEO, alongside his current role as chief financial office

“We would like to thank Erik for his hard work, dedication and leadership at Vevo, which grew dramatically during his tenure and helped forge stronger connections between artists and fans through popular features and original programming,” Vevo’s board of directors said in a brief statement.
