Pay-TV revenues in Moldova slumped by 13.2% year-on-year to MDL60.5 million (€2.93 million) in the third quarter.
According to data published by the regulator ANRCETI, the electronic communications market as a whole saw a 2.7% fall in revenues, to MDL1.675 billion.
While fixed (-17% to MDL170.9 million) and mobile telephony (-6.8% to MDL874 million) revenues were also lower, both mobile (+28% to MDL241.9 million and fixed (+8.4% to MDL320.7 million) internet revenues were up on the same period last year.
Pay-TV ARPU in the third quarter was MDL45, while the most lucrative service was fixed internet, with an ARPU of MDL187.
