Ofcom has awarded or transferred licences for several channels operating in Central and Eastern Europe.
In a summary of its licensing activity on broadcast TV stations for October, the UK regulator says that it awarded Television Licensable Content Service Licences (TLCSs) to Bite Broadcasting Services Ltd for TV1000 Premium and AETN UK for History Hungary SD.
It also transferred five TLCS licences from Modern Times Group (MTG) to Bite, for the services 3+ (Estonia), 3+ (Latvia), CTC Estonia, CTC Baltics and Viasat Sport (Baltics).
