The Czech broadcaster Digi CZ has added 12 more channels to the basic package of its internet TV service Dig2Go.
As a result, the package now contains over 70 channels, while the full Maxi package contains over 100 channels.
According to Digi CZ, it is also providing its internet TV and DTH services free of charge to all new customers for four months. The rental fee for set-top boxes is also being waived for the first four months.
Commenting on the new channel additions, Vladimir Rusnak, executive director of Digi CZ, said: “We constantly communicate with our customers, identify their interests, and within our capabilities, we are constantly expanding and further enhancing the programme offer. At this point, for example, we have come to meet our customers who lack the Barrandov Family and Prima Comedy Central channels. At the same time, we have significantly expanded the range of music channels that we are addressing above all to the younger generation. I believe, however, that customers will appreciate, for example, English Club TV, a channel for teaching and practicing English”.
Digi CZ is owned by the Czech Lama Energy Group. With the launch of Digi2Go, it became the first operator in the country to offer TV services both via satellite and over the internet.
