German regional telecommunications provider M-net has rolled out high-speed internet access with a data rate of up to 1Gbps on its fibre-optic network for end-consumers.
The service is available in Munich, Augsburg and Erlangen in buildings served with FTTH. The upload speed amounts to up to 50Mbps.
The new tariff Surf&Fon-Flat 1000 costs €149 per month and also comprises a telephone connection with two lines and 10 phone numbers.
The FRITZ!Box 7582 from AVM serves as the router; it is provided to customers free of charge on request.
