One week after Com Hem pulled the plug there’s still no movement in the dispute with the operator and Discovery Networks Sweden.
“Unfortunately, we have not agreed with Discovery Networks yet. We are focusing on finding a solution around the negotiating table,” reads a statement on the Com Hem website.
The Kanal 5 Facebook page is peppered with requests for viewers missing the group’s channels to get in touch with the cable operator.
Discovery, along with Eurosport and entertainment led Kanal 5 have been missing from both Com Hem and DTT counterpart Boxer since September 1.
It’s the latest in a series of disputes between operators and the content provider as Discovery looks to recoup some of its programme investment, not least the multi-million Euro deal to secure the Olympics.
