Tele Columbus turns into PŸUR

August 31, 2017 13.41 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

Germany’s third largest cable operator Tele Columbus Group will adopt the new name PŸUR from October 2017.

With the rebranding, Tele Columbus, Primacom, HL komm and Pepcom will be unified under a single consumer brand.

At the same time, the cable company wants to introduce a new product portfolio based on simplicity, transparency and fairness. The focus will be on tariffs that can be cancelled monthly and sole internet products.

PŸUR will become visible from October 2017 in the areas served by Tele Columbus and Primacom in Northern, Western and Eastern Germany. Pepcom Group with its Cablesurf brand and its subsidiary KMS mainly active in the South and central part of Germany will present itself under the new brand from Q1 2018, just like nationwide B2B service provider HL komm.

The corporate names under company law as well as the name of holding company Tele Columbus AG listed on the stock exchange will not be affected by the rebranding.
