Telefónica’s Movistar is set to increase its prices while at the same time making the MultiAccess Hogar service more widely available to TV subscribers.
According to El Economista, it will shortly announce a rise of €5 a month in all its Fusion rates, scheduled for August 18 and affecting some 500,000 customers, in exchange for increasing the data allowances for mobile lines from the current 8Mb to 10Mb.
Meanwhile, MultiAccess Hogar will be made available to the entire IPTV customer base, either over ADSL or fibre, from August 1.
This will allow for the reception of Movistar+ on up to four devices at any one time in the home.
Movistar also plans to add the TV channel Pop Up James Up to its line-up on August 25.
