Joyne announces channel line-up

The fledgling Dutch DTH platform Joyne has announced its channel line-up that is due to launch on August 1.

Joyne will be offering a total of 54 TV channels and 10 radio stations from the Eutelsat position at 9 degrees East. The new platform was first announced last May.

The platform’s entry-level bouquet Travel Lite starts at €13 monthly and comprises 30 TV channels including NPO 1, NPO 2, NPO 3, RTL 4, RTL 5, RTL 7, RTL 8, RTL Z, SBS6, SBS9, Net5, Veronica, Comedy Central, Spike, Discovery, Eurosport 1 HD, Xite, as well as regional public channels Omroep Fryslân, TV Noord. TV Drenthe, TV Flevoland, TV Zeeland, TV Oost, TV Limburg, TV Brabant, TV Gelderland, TV Noord-Holland, TV West, TV Rijnmond, and TV Utrecht.

Joyne’s basic package adds Nickelodeon, Discovery ID, Eurosport 2, TLC, MTV, TV Oranje, Schlager TV, Nashville TV, 192TV, Eén, Canvas, Ketnet, History, National Geographic Channel, 24Kitchen, Family7, FOX, FOX Sports Eredivisie1, Fox Sports Eredivisie 3 and Fox Sports Eredivisie 5, for a fee of €22 a month.

The Basic Plus bouquet adds adult channels Dusk, Secret Circle and Meiden van Holland Hard, as well as Crime and Investigation.

The ten radio stations are part of all packages: NPO Radio 1, NPO Radio 2, NPO 3FM, NPO Radio 4, NPO Radio 5, RADIONL, 100%NL, Sky Radio, Radio 538 and Radio Veronica.
