Starting at PLN19.99 (€4.73) a month, it includes reductions on all its basic and premium packages until the end of the year, along with HBO free of charge for six months.
The move comes against the backdrop of hotly disputed plans to amend legislation governing receiver licence fees that would see pay-TV operators forced to provide data about their customers to Polish Post, responsible for collection of the fees.
People aged 75 and above are currently exempt from paying receiver licence fees and the offer is targeted at them and their family members.
Quoted by press.pl, Paulina Smaszcz-Kurzajewska, the communications and PR director at nc+, said: “this offer appeared for a reason. It is particularly interesting for those who are worried that they will have to pay the subscription fee”.
