ProSiebenSat.1 can continue to show movies and series from 20th Century Fox on its free-to-air and pay-TV channels and on video-on-demand service maxdome.
The German media company extended its existing licence deal with the Hollywood studio on a long-term basis. Financial details were not disclosed.
The movie line-up comprises titles like Deadpool and Ice Age: Collision Course as well as future productions like Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant.
The series package includes, for example, drama series This is us and sitcom The Mick.
Through the agreement, ProSiebenSat.1 also secured access to older movies from the US studio such as Titanic, Speed, Independence Day, Home Alone and The Devil Wears Prada.
