The media press Group, and Central European Media & Publishing (CEMP) have reached an agreement under which media press Group acquired Port Network from CEMP.
Port Network is a provider of TV, radio and movie metadata in Central and Eastern Europe with business based in Hungary, together with its satellite outlets in Croatia, Slovakia, Romania and Serbia. Port network covers the main TV and radio channel portfolio of 15 CEE countries by producing their programme metadata on a daily basis.
Welcoming the acquisition, which was signed in Budapest, president of media press Group’s Kris Cechnicki said: “We are very pleased to welcome Port Network to our corporate family and we are looking forward to working with their highly-experienced and skilled staff to provide the best service to clients in the broadcast industry. Pan-European clients will soon benefit from our unparalleled offering of metadata, covering more than 3.500 channels on highest editorial levels, processed by our platform TV Man Next”.
