The Craft Channel has pulled the plug two months after the troubled operation called in administrators UHY Hacker Young.
Its Freeview channel went dark in December and following a creditors meeting on January 16 its Sky and Freesat channel had been showing reruns of old programmes.
According to The Craft Channel’s support website the channel was ‘sold’ on December 5, but the move to a new credit card processor meant it could not refund existing customers.
It’s believed the purchase was made by Manchester-based Agency Communications; a number of directors have since resigned.
To make matters worse for the channel, it was unable to access its stock following the non-payment of warehouse fees.
This lead to complaints on the channel’s Facebook page from customers that had not received their orders.
