The Italian media regulator has asked the Lega Calcio to make changes to its guidelines for the selling of centralised media rights to the Serie A.
They would apply to the three seasons from 2018/19.
Agcom’s proposals refer to the protection of consumers and reception of the signal, rather than the principles or the general framework of the guidelines.
Under the Melandri Law, which seeks to provide a fair distribution of revenues, Agcom’s final approval will await a final set of proposals.
