The Polish mobile operator Play has added the channels HBO, HBO2 and HBO3, as well as films and series from the HBO GO library, to its Play Now service.
According to the company, for the price of a cinema ticket viewers now have access to over 700 films, over 120 series, 90 films a year from the Disney and Disney/Pixar studios, several dozen top documentaries, several dozen hours of new proposals each week and a total of over 3,500 hours of top film entertainment.
Its customers who already have the Play Now standard plan in their offer can try HBO packages for one month free of charge, after which they will pay PLN25 (€5.67) a month. Furthermore, those who opt for certain post-paid plans can receive the HBO package free of charge for three months, after which they will be charged a promotional price of PLN20 a month.
Play Now, HBO GO and other video platforms can be accessed on Google Chromecast, which is available in Play plans for PLN10 a month. The HBO GO app is also available on Samsung and LG TV sets.
Play had over 14.6 million subscribers as of the end of the third quarter.
