Russia’s Rostelecom ended the third quarter with 9.2 million pay-TV subscribers, a 9% increase on the same period last year.
However, within that figure, the number of IPTV customers rose by 28% to 4 million.
Rostelecom also saw a 7% year-on-year growth in its broadband subscriber total to 12.2 million.
Its B2B subscriber base grew by 7% to 11.4 million, while the number of subscribers connected by fibre-optic increased by 21% year on-year to 7.1 million, or 59% of the total.
Rostelecom’s revenues in Q3 amounted to R72,781 million (€1,039 million), a 0.4% increase on a year earlier. Its net income was R4,060 million (+98%).
