The number of broadband connections in Hungary via DOCSIS 3.0 now stands at around one million.
According to data produced by the regulator NMHH, the figure was 989,950 as of the end of September, with the number of subscriptions for broadband via cable, based on information obtained by operators covering 82.8% of cable modem subscriptions, standing at 1,136,303.
Meanwhile, the number of xDSL and FTTx subscriptions, again provided by market leaders, stood at 782,267 and 497,258 respectively.
Telekom, UPC and Digi remain the leading providers of fixed broadband services in Hungary, claiming market shares of 35.4%, 22% and 15.5% respectiively in September.
Invitel, the next largest player, had a share of 9.5%.
