Shorts TV, the international channel for short movies, has launched on internet TV platform Magine TV in Germany.
Shorts TV is part of pay-TV package Film & Serie which now contains a total of nine channels available for €2.99 per month. Shorts TV has also joined the Premium package: The bouquet now contains 76 channels, 40 of them in HD quality, offered for €11.99 per month.
Shorts TV was founded in 2008 in the UK and is now also available in the USA, the Netherlands, Belgium and Romania. The channel which reaches a total of 40 million households is distributed in Germany exclusively by Magine TV.
Shorts TV shows short movies from the genres comedy, drama, romance, thriller, horror and science-fiction as well as animated movies and documentaries. Highlights of the schedule are short movies like Pitch Black Heist with Michael Fassbender, Some Boys Don’t Leave with Jesse Eisenberg and Steve with Colin Firth and Keira Knightley.
