The Polish public broadcaster TVP will launch a HD version of its TVP Info channel this week.
Wirtualne Media reports that the service will make its debut in the night of September 29/ September 30 and occupy a slot on the third DTT multiplex vacated by TVP Polonia in July.
It is as yet unclear as to when TVP Info HD will also have carriage on cable and DTH services in Poland.
TVP Info will become the fifth HD channel operated by TVP after TVP1 HD, TVP2 HD, TVP HD and TVP Sport HD.
