The Kosovan public broadcaster RTK has been attacked for a second time within a matter of days.
According to Balkan Insight, in this instance a bomb was thrown next to the home of its director, Mentor Shala.
In a statement, RTK said: “We continue to believe that the hate speech used by different political forces, especially by Vetevendosje [the opposition Self-Determination Movement], presents a real danger and threat to the normal functioning of the public broadcaster”.
However, the opposition Vetevendosje party denied playing any part in the attack.
As previously reported in Broadband TV News, the EBU condemned an attack on the headquarters of RTK in the capital, Pristina, earlier this month.
