The Polish cable operator Multimedia Polska ended the second quarter with 839,000 video RGUs, or 45,000 more than the same period last year.
However, its broadband (data) RGU fell over the same period, by 7,000 to 529,000, due to strong pressure from LTE offerings.
Meanwhile, ARPU in Q2 was PLN69.9 (€16.2), compared to PLN67.1 a year earlier, and video churn was up slightly, from 0.68% to 0.70%.
A total of 393,200 Multimedia customers were single play, with 309,600 opting for double play and 128,700 multiplay.
Video revenues in Q2 amounted to PLN92,332,000 (+6% year-on-year), while the company’s total revenues were PLN184,385,000 (+5%), with the latter put down to growth in the video segment and higher revenues generated from new services.
However, adjusted EBITDA was PLN 79,852,000 (-8%) and the profit PLN765,000 (-94%).
