Telefónica joins forces with Sky in Germany

July 27, 2016 09.42 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

Sky Ticket klGerman mobile network operator Telefónica Deutschland will offer its customers the possibility to watch movies, series and live sports from pay-TV broadcaster Sky Deutschland including Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League games.

Access will be via OTT service Sky Ticket (formerly Sky Online) through which the Sky offers are available without a regular subscription.

The collaboration will kick off in January 2017 at the beginning of the second half of the forthcoming Bundesliga season. The contracts can be cancelled monthly; for the sports package there are also 1-day and 7-day passes.
