The Lithuanian incumbent Teo ended Q2 with 178,000 IPTV subscribers, including those opting for its Interneto.tv service.
This was 12,900 more than at the start of the year and 33,900 higher than in the corresonding period in 2015.
At the same time, its DTT customer total continued to fall, with the June 30 figure of 44,000 down by 6,900 compared to the same period in 2015.
Overall, Teo’s TV subscriber total increased by 27,000 in the first six months of this year.
Meanwhile, the number of Teo’s FTTH and FTTB connections increased by 12.2% in the year to June 30 to 235,000.
At the same time, the number of copper DSL connections fell by 3.5% to 163,000.
As of the end of June, 59% of all 398,000 broadband internet connections were over the fibre-optic access network.
Teo’s revenues in Q2 amounted to €84.164 million, up 3.6% on a year earlier. TV services contributed €5.991 million (+19.5%) to the total.
