Telekom Austria Group’s head of communications Ingrid Spörk is to leave the company.
Meanwhile, Barbara Grohs has been appointed interim head of external communications & CSR at the group and A1.
Commenting on the change, Alejandro Plater, CEO of the Telekom Austria Group, said: “Ingrid Spörk has shown enormous dedication to our company and enriched it with many new ideas and projects. I would like to thank her for her outstanding work and commitment and the tremendous support she gave us during the transformation process last year”.
Spörk will stay on until early August to assist with the handover of her responsibilities.
Plater added: I am delighted about the smooth transition and the additional support we will have thanks to the interim appointment. In recent months we have been seeking to implement a great many changes and we have mastered these challenges successfully.
“After Ingrid Spörk informed me of her wish to leave the company, we launched an executive search process to find a long-term successor and Barbara Grohs will now participate in this”.
