Xstream signs Asia Pacific licence deal

OTT Premium logoXstream has entered into an exclusive Asia Pacific Licensing Agreement with OTT Premium Pty Ltd, an IOT Group subsidiary.

The deal is to sell, market and license Xstream’s OTT Platform, Xstream MediaMaker throughout the Asia Pacific region.

“OTT and TV everywhere is the biggest evolution we’ve seen in delivering content across all devices to consumers. Xstream is at the forefront of the OTT food chain and we are proud to be their exclusive partner across Asia Pacific. This is a significant step forward for OTT Premium.” Said Ian Duffell, IOT executive director business strategy and OTT Premium chairman.

“The entire Asia Pacific region is experiencing tremendous growth in online video viewership. Entering this new era with OTT Premium will allow us to meet the increasing demand for our technology in this region,” commented Simon Hoegsbro, CEO of Xstream.

“OTT Premium is an ideal partner for rapidly expanding our brand awareness and sales efforts in the Asia Pacific region. We are delighted to team up with OTT Premium to accelerate our growth in this region and offer content owners, broadcasters and operators across the APAC region a sophisticated, best in class, OTT platform.”

Bob Morrison, managing director for Xstream Asia Pacific will join the OTT Premium team as CEO. Bob joined Xstream as managing director, Asia Pacific in 2015.
