Filmbox free month on LG smart TVs

May 4, 2016 10.13 Europe/London By Robert Briel

FilmBox Live and LG are running an international promo campaign which lets LG Smart TV users enjoy one month of free access to the FilmBox Live app featuring live TV channels and a VOD library.

The promotion will last throughout May. In addition to Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Greece and Turkey, the one month complimentary subscription may also be activated in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, UAE, Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Philippines.

LG is promoting FilmBox Live in the Smart TV Premium Zone. Users need to activate their one month free trial online through a landing page disclosed in the FilmBox Live app.

FilmBox Live is a worldwide platform which features live-streaming TV channels and a library of movies. It gives subscribers non-stop access to 1,000+ films and other diverse on demand content.

In addition, the app features all of the linear channel portfolio from SPI International/FilmBox, including two sports channels (FightBox HD and Fast&FunBox HD), a documentary channel (DocuBox HD), a movie channel devoted to classic and independent cinema (FilmBox Arthouse), a fashion channel (FashionBox HD), an independent music channel (360TuneBox HD), an interactive gaming channel (MadscreenBox) and several ethnic channels (FilmBox Russia, FilmBox Africa, Kino Polska Int’l, Kino Polska Muzyka). The channel line-up may vary from country to country.

“We are glad to offer LG Smart TV users the opportunity to explore FilmBox Live and enjoy top quality entertainment which we deliver through our platform,” says Berk Uziyel, executive director at SPI International / Filmbox.

“From its very launch FilmBox Live has been collaborating with LG to bring on demand content to viewers in CEE. We are excited to watch this partnership grow and expand globally.”
