FilmBox expands in Turkey

filmboxFour FilmBox channels from SPI International have been launched on the Turkish platform D-Smart.

All four – FilmBox HD, FightBox HD, DocuBox HD and Fast&FunBox HD – are in the HD format and offered with Turkish subtitles or dubbing.

Commenting on the launch, Murat Muratoglu, MENA director for SPI International / Filmbox, said: “Our recent agreement with D-Smart is important for SPI in Turkey. We are excited to have begun collaboration with such a prominent player in the Turkish market and to deliver our content to D-Smart subscribers while catering to a wide range of viewers’ interests”.

The launch brings the total number of SPI International channels available in Turkey to eight.

The four others – FilmBox Arthouse, FashionBox, 360 TuneBox and MadscreenBox are carried by several TV platforms and also offered by the online VOD service FilmBox Live.
