A+E Networks UK has signed a new carriage deal with BT TV. It extends the availability of the A+E portfolio of channels; History, H2. Lifetime and Crime + Investigation.
As part of the deal entertainment brand Lifetime has been moved to the Entertainment Starter package. The channel screens shows including Britain’s Next Top Model and Dance Mums with Jennifer Ellison (pictured). Lifetime will be included as part of the Entertainment Starter package.
Announcing the new deal, A+E Networks UK’s SVP of Distribution & Strategy, Adrian Pilkington, said: “A+E Networks UK has a long-standing and close partnership with BT so I am delighted that we have not only agreed a new long-term carriage deal, but that we have also expanded our offering on this fast-growing UK platform. This increased reach will mean even bigger audiences can enjoy our great shows across History, H2, Lifetime and Crime + Investigation.”
HD versions of Lifetime and H2 will launch on BT TV later in the year.
