3 Screen Solutions (3SS), a German provider of software solutions and services to the multiscreen digital entertainment industry, has developed a smart TV app for ran Fighting, the combat sports subscription video portal operated by ProSiebenSat.1.
The German media company commissioned 3SS to build the complete front end and elements of the backend for the application.
The first version of the app which 3SS created in under four weeks is now live on Samsung smart TV sets, enabling viewers to access the OTT service’s live coverage of major boxing and martial arts event as well as the extensive archive.
The content on ran Fighting is offered on a pay-per-event or subscription basis. Following the live broadcast of any competition, viewers are able to access the match for 48 hours on demand without restriction.
3SS will also be at this year’s TV Connect in London.
