The Polish cable operator Multimedia Polska has announced a development strategy that will see it transformed from a telco into a national provider of integrated services both for the home and businesses.
As part of the strategy, it has begun to offer customers gas, having already added LTE internet access, mobile telephony, insurance and electricity to its product portfolio.
Speaking to Wirtualne Media about other aspects about the company’s strategy, its chairman of the board Andrzej Rogowski said that it plans to launch an OTT service, offering both linear channels and VOD, later this year.
He added that Multimedia Polska also plans to withdraw its analogue offer by mid-2017 at the latest.
