Netgem to show ‘multiscreen like you’ve never seen before’

April 12, 2016 10.53 Europe/London By Julian Clover

Netgem plans to show a suite of multiscreen solutions when it comes to TV Connect later this month (26-28 April, ExCeL, London).

With the bold statement that it will be encouraging attendees to “discover multiscreen like you’ve never seen before”, Netgem will be demonstrating a number of first-to-market deployments that it provides to telecoms operators – including EE in the UK – where viewers can choose to watch live and recorded programming on their TV, mobile and tablet devices simultaneously. This includes full personalisation and social abilities built into the heart of the solution.

Netgem will also be demonstrating its cloud-based TV platform which has been deployed by market leading telecom operators, including Post Luxembourg. Netgem’s solution delivers an end-to-end multiscreen TV experience for subscribers while leveraging the investments operators have made in high-speed fibre networks to enable them to offer an innovative service to customers. The solution incorporates services that deliver a wide range of entertainment video content through partnerships secured by Netgem to allow access to live and on demand services across multiple devices.

Sylvain Thevenot, managing director of Netgem Europe, said: “The TV industry is in a state of flux as consumers demand new and innovative multiscreen experiences. We are using TV Connect 2016 to underscore how our award-winning solutions can meet this challenge by delivering true multiscreen experiences that gives audiences access to a huge range of entertaining content both on the TV and their mobile devices.”

Netgem boasts 20 deployments in Europe, APAC, and South America.
