NetRange adds watchmi to smart TV portal

watchmi Smart TVThe German TV/video app watchmi is now available on TV sets equipped with smart TV portals from NetRange following a partnership signed between the Hamburg-based service provider and watchmi operator Funke Digital TV Guide.

Through the agreement, smart TV households in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Liechtenstein will be able to access watchmi’s thematic channels on TV sets from manufacturers such as Loewe, Sharp, TCL, Skyworth and Changhong.

The channels contain videos covering the areas news, sports, entertainment, technology and science from more than 20 partners including Euronews, Reuters, dpa, kicker.de, BILD, joiz, Welt der Wunder, Stiftung Warentest and Ampya. More than 50 channels in 11 categories are currently available.

The free-of-charge, ad-supported offering can be customised by users according to their personal interests. The content is constantly updated via internet.
