Sports portal LAOLA1.tv has brushed up its design and launched new features enabling users to customise the offering to their own interests.
The core of the revised service is the new video player equipped with a picture in picture function through which viewers can watch up to four live-streams simultaneously on their screen.
The area My Feed can be personalised by sports fans creating their own site through adding their favourite leagues or teams. A personal watch list can also be composed by selecting videos. The individual playlist can then be consumed for example in the evening as a rolling video stream through the smart TV app on the TV set.
The area What’s Hot contains content recommended by the editorial team, the most watched videos, current social media postings, surveys, news and other content.
Besides the website, LAOLA1.tv has also upgraded its apps for smartphones and tablets (iOS/Android). Users have the option to receive push notifications on their mobile devices when the live-stream of their favourite team commences or a new video of their favoured league becomes available. The new apps are available for download from the corresponding app stores.
LAOLA1.tv operated by The Sportsman Media Holding transmits more than 7,000 live events per year including all games of Spanish football league La Liga, all matches of the Copa del Rey, Coppa Italia, Deutsche Eishockey Liga, Austrian Eishockey Liga, Champions Hockey League as well as games of several basketball, handball, volleyball, tennis and table tennis competitions.
